Biohazard Cleaning With Your Safety in Mind

In the event of a biological hazard, whether that’s from bodily fluids, sewage, trauma environments or in laboratories, you need specialist expertise to ensure a comprehensive clean. Our cleaning technicians are highly qualified and rigorously trained to deal with complex biohazard cleans. We offer a quick, safe and efficient service to clean hazardous spaces and make them occupiable again.

If you are responsible for a location and biohazard cleaning becomes necessary, then you have a legal obligation to ensure that it is completed properly. The Health and Safety Act 1974 and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 outline the safe procedures that must be followed. Our specialist biohazard cleaning teams will undertake both a risk assessment and the thorough disinfection of the area.

Due to the high level of potential risk to our team, we do everything to ensure their safety. This means that all team members receive extensive relevant training, including SSIP accreditation from every major health & safety body in the UK. To maintain safety, our staff always use the appropriate PPE and take steps to ensure that soiled PPE does not go on to contaminate other areas once the cleaning is finished.

Our Services include:

Trauma Cleans

Sharps

Blood and Bodify Fluid Clean-up

Deep Cleans

Forensic Cleaning

Covid-19 Biohazard Clean-up

    Our Biohazard Cleaning Process

    Waste Removal

Anything that is potentially hazardous will be removed. We dispose of all biohazardous waste safely and legally. If any porous materials, like curtains and carpets, have absorbed bodily fluids, they may need to be removed from the site as well.

    Disinfection

Our cleaners apply disinfectant by hand to the most affected surfaces. We then fog the area with disinfectant using Ultra Low Volume (ULV) fogging. We sanitise hard to reach places, ensuring a comprehensive biohazard clean that ensures the safety of your environment.

    Deodorise the Area

Once our team has finished the cleanup and disinfection, the area is deodorised.

The walls and floors will be treated to make sure that there is no lingering smell.

    Inspection

Once all of these steps are complete, our team will inspect the site. As well as a visual review, we are able to test to make sure there are no remaining biohazards present in the area. The cleaning is carried out to hospital standards, making the space completely safe for you to return to.

When you contact us to arrange a cleanup, we will ask several questions over the phone.
